About Us
In 2004, after working for over 25 years in the Kansas oil patch, John Brickley teamed up with his sons Andy & Jonathan to start AJ’s Services. For over 15 years, AJ’s has established a proven track record of excellent, dependable oil field service - specializing in well servicing, lease operations, hydrostatic pipe testing, roustabout, and vacuum truck work.
In early 2018, the Brickley's teamed up with the Coulter family and started Lighthouse Drilling. Charlie has over 20 years under his belt as a driller & mud engineer, and he comes from a long line of drillers – his dad Duke and grandfather Ed have nearly 100 years drilling
experience between them.
In the Spring of 2018, Lighthouse purchased a great rig in Texas and began offering contract drilling, mud services and completion work – turnkey – for customers like you and others in Kansas, Nebraska & Oklahoma.
Lighthouse – like AJ’s – runs a clean, reliable, drug-free workforce and offers quality services at reasonable rates. With an in-house safety compliance officer and DOT specialist, Lighthouse maintains a commitment to safe operations on a daily basis.

Lighthouse Drilling, LLC is committed to safety. This is obviously a benefit for our crews in the field, but also for our subcontractors and owners of the wells we drill.
Each month, Lighthouse drilling crews complete a Rig Check to make sure that all parts of the rig and location are up to standard. They check the structure as well as specific tools, latches, ladders, and safety apparatuses for any defects.
Safety training is provided to all employees on a daily basis. Each employee takes part in a monthly training during the company meetings as well. Policies and procedures are specifically detailed in the Employee Handbook .
A site-specific Emergency Action Plan (EAP) is developed before drilling begins at each location. This EAP is encouraged by OSHA and outlines emergency safety procedures.
